Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Bridget!
Originally from the Midwestern state of Indiana, I now reside in Washington D.C. where I advocate for global maternal and child health at the United Nations Foundation. My Peruvian-American roots and value of cross-cultural understanding drive my passion for the well-being of women and girls globally.
After earning my Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management and Policy and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Indiana University, I secured internships in the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, which led to an official role as a public policy correspondent for the U.S. Senate.
Prior to re-locating to the Nation’s Capital, I held roles at a statewide non-profit against domestic and sexual violence and Indiana University Health. Also a 2x titleholder in the Miss America Organization and contestant in the Miss Indiana pageant, I served as an advocate for women’s personal and professional leadership development and as a goodwill ambassador for the Children’s Miracle Network.
My Christian faith is my guiding principle that leads my belief that every individual possesses unique skills and talents to be a force for good in their community. [Ephesians 2:10].
I hope to inspire early career professionals, especially young women, to embrace their gifts and own their signature presence!
